CUPA is a non-profit Chinese Ultimate Frisbee Website dedicated to popularizing Ultimate Frisbee in China. We cover issues and articles about Ultimate knowledge, Ultimate tournaments in China, Asia and around the World, Ultimate strategy and tactics, Chinese Ultimate teams and organizations, Chinese Players, Ultimate stories ,interviews, pictures, videos and Ultimate gear.
Since February 2007, CUPA has been a leader in the China Ultimate Community. We are the only Chinese Ultimate website focusing on advancing the sport of Ultimate in China by enhancing and promoting Character, Community and Competition. Balance Wang is the Founder of CUPA and Ivan Xu is the editor in chief. There is no official disc federation in China; therefore, our goal is to establish the China Ultimate Players Association, and that’s our website domain stands for.
CUPA started to collect the CUPA Ultimate Development Fund in Feb,2007. We have been cooperating with Frisbee companies and sports gear companies to collect for the fund. We are working on gaining support from the Chinese Government right now. We have sponsored China's players to travel and play in tournaments, organize ultimate tournaments, and host ultimate clinic camps, mainly in Southern China. CUPA Ultimate Development Fund is transparent and we guarantee that all funds are spent on China Ultimate development.
